Roth Bacon Moon Attorneys, LLC invites you to attend an open house at its Upper Sandusky office on Thursday, March 26th. We look forward to welcoming clients, friends, and members of the community to our new location and celebrating the continued growth of our firm.

Roth Bacon Moon Attorneys, LLC is a law firm serving Wyandot and surrounding counties for over seventy (70) years.  Harold D. Roth served in World War II and began the firms just after he returned from way.  Harold’s brother-in-law, Forrest H. Bacon, completed law school in 1950 and after his service in World War II, he and Harold formed Roth and Bacon Attorneys in 1951.

The two Attorneys each held the post of Wyandot County Prosecutor during their tenure.  Each had a son who would later join in the practice of law: Jeffrey P. Roth (1973); and David F. Bacon (1977).

In the early nineties, both Jeffrey and David elected to concentrate on estate planning opportunities for their clients.  This new concentration of the practice included emerging trends in probate avoidance, business planning and succession, tax strategies, related real estate transactions, and the real estate needs of their clients.

Jeffrey was admitted to the Florda and Ohio bars prior to his commencing his practice.  David was admitted as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Truste, and Probate Law in Ohio by the Ohio State Bar Association Estate Planning, Trust and Pronate Law Specialty Board in 2007.

In 2010, David’s daughter, Jessica B. Moon, joined the practice.  Before joining Roth and Bacon, Jessica served as a Prosecutor with the City of Columbus for two years.  In 2011, David and Jessica both took and passed the Florida bar.  Jeffrey, David and Jessica are now all admitted to the practice of law in both Ohio and Florida.

The main office remains in Upper Sandusky, with additional locations in: Marion, Ohio; Port Clinton, Ohio; and in Fort Myers, Florida. The main location at 50 Court Street was recently purchased by Wyandot County for jail expansion purposes and Roth Bacon Moon has since moved to 107 S Fourth St., in Upper Sandusky.  Moving the office after more than 51 years in the same location was a complicated task and the firm appreciated the patience of our clients and friends afforded Roth Bacon Moon during this time.

In 2025, Roth Bacon Moon was pleased to announce the addition of our new associate attorney Hunter J. Dickson. Hunter is a 2022 graduate of Youngstown State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Hunter recently became a 2025 graduate of Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law. Hunter served as a legal intern for Roth Bacon Moon during the summers of 2023 and 2024 and is already known to many of clients.  Hunter joined the Ohio Bar in November of 2025 and is fully licensed and accepting new clients.

The firm continues to focus on estate planning, probate avoidance, trusts, wills, business associations, and related tax matters. Helping clients manage their current personal and business concerns—and plan for the people they choose to succeed them—remains our primary mission.

We hope you will join us on Thursday, March 26th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at our new office: 107 South Fourth St., Upper Sandusky, Ohio to visit and to celebrate this next chapter of Roth Bacon Moon Attorneys.
